Alex McGehee Obituary, Death – With heavy hearts, we come together to mourn the loss of Alex Leslie McGehee, a beloved member of our community in Owensboro, Kentucky. Alex departed from this world on August 31, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever linger in our hearts.
To the McGehee family, we extend our deepest condolences during this difficult time. Alex’s presence touched the lives of many, and we join you in honoring a life well-lived.
Visitation to pay respects and offer support to the family will be held on Monday, September 4th, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303.
A mass to celebrate Alex’s life will follow on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church, situated at 3418 KY-144, Owensboro, KY 42303.
Following the mass, a burial service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, located at 5404 KY-54, Owensboro, KY 42303.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to either the St. Pius X Catholic Church Building Fund or Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. Your support in their memory will undoubtedly make a meaningful difference.
