Alexa Krnich Death, Obituary – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexa Krnich, who peacefully reunited with her beloved husband of 55 years, Stan Capello, on February 14, 2013, in Chicago, Illinois. She was 85 years old at the time of her passing. Alexa was a devoted and loving mother to Dale (Patti) Capello, a cherished grandmother to Michelle (Mike) Steigerwalt and Maria Capello, and a great-grandmother to Kyle, Kayla, Alexa, and Deven. Her love and generosity extended not only to her immediate family but also to her extended family, including her sister Betty Odette and sister-in-law Antonia (John) Kranich.
Alexa was also held dear by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A gathering to celebrate Alexa’s life will be held at the Funeral Home on February 20, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. At noon, there will be a heartfelt Celebration of Issie’s life, allowing all those who knew and loved her to come together and remember the warmth and kindness she brought into their lives. Following the celebration, a private burial will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, where Alexa will find her final resting place.
Alexa Krnich’s life was marked by love, family, and a spirit of generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to have had her in their lives. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her lifetime valentine, Stan.
