Barry Lynn LaRue Death, Obituary – Barry Lynn LaRue, a man of immense generosity and boundless love, was born on June 18, 1960, in Columbia, Tennessee. He continued to enrich the lives of those around him until his peaceful passing on September 2, 2023, in his beloved hometown.

Barry was the cherished son of Anita Duncan LaRue and the late Billy LaRue. He shared a special bond with his sisters, Melody Taylor and Angie Atkins, though he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Holloway. Barry’s legacy lives on through his children, Barry LaRue Jr. and Derrek LaRue, and his treasured grandchildren, Ava, Weston, Ella, and Maxton LaRue.

An ardent fisherman, Barry discovered solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was casting a line into peaceful waters or navigating the tranquil currents by canoe or kayak, nature was his sanctuary. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his passion for music and unwavering support for the University of Tennessee Football team – Go VOLS! Barry had a knack for turning ordinary moments into joyful ones, and his infectious enthusiasm lit up every room he entered.

Barry was renowned for his thoughtful nature and his unyielding willingness to lend a helping hand. He treated everyone, from acquaintances to strangers, with kindness and respect. His love for his family was evident in every facet of his life. Barry was a devoted father, a doting grandfather, and a cherished brother. His love for his family was boundless, and his absence leaves a void that will be keenly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with Mr. Barry’s wishes, a private service will be held. Visitation with the LaRue family will be an opportunity to share your condolences and memories, and it will take place on September 6th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Blondy Family Life Center.

Barry’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, a testament to a life well-lived and love generously given.
