Barry Lynn LaRue Death, Obituary – Barry Lynn LaRue, a man of immense generosity and boundless love, was born on June 18, 1960, in Columbia, Tennessee. He continued to enrich the lives of those around him until his peaceful passing on September 2, 2023, in his beloved hometown.

Barry was the cherished son of Anita Duncan LaRue and the late Billy LaRue. He shared a special bond with his sisters, Melody Taylor and Angie Atkins, though he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Holloway. Barry’s legacy lives on through his children, Barry LaRue Jr. and Derrek LaRue, and his treasured grandchildren, Ava, Weston, Ella, and Maxton LaRue.

An ardent fisherman, Barry discovered solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was casting a line into peaceful waters or navigating the tranquil currents by canoe or kayak, nature was his sanctuary. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his passion for music and unwavering support for the University of Tennessee Football team – Go VOLS! In accordance with Mr. Barry’s wishes, a private service will be held. Visitation with the LaRue family will be an opportunity to share your condolences and memories, and it will take place on September 6th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Blondy Family Life Center.
