While not everyone had the privilege of rolling dice with Bob, those who did knew him as a consummate gentleman, embodying grace and composure in every aspect of his life. Perhaps, it was the lasting influence of his career as an airline pilot, where calmness under pressure was not just a skill but a way of life. Bob’s presence at the gaming table was a reassuring constant, a beacon of tranquility in a world filled with excitement and tension.
At our club, we will deeply feel the void left by Bob’s absence. His wisdom, poise, and unwavering camaraderie enriched our gaming sessions and our lives. The dice may have fallen, but his memory will forever roll on in our hearts. Bob’s funeral will be held at Evesham Crematorium on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Following the service,
we will gather at The Chequers Inn in Fladbury to celebrate Bob’s life and share stories of the times we spent together.
