Bobby Musser Obituary, Bobby Musser Has Sadly Passed away

Bobby Musser Obituary, Death – Surrounded by his loving family, Robert R. “Bobby” Musser of Aaronsburg, peacefully passed away at his home on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the age of 36. Born on May 31, 1987, in State College, Bobby was the cherished son of the late Robert I. Musser and Margaret E. Ross of Aaronsburg. He had graduated from Penns Valley Area High School in the class of 2006.

Bobby found immense joy in various aspects of life. His face would light up at the prospect of riding a ferris wheel, making carnivals and the Grange fair particularly special occasions for him. On one memorable occasion, a ferris wheel was set up just for Bobby, and he delighted in riding it for hours on end. He held a special place in his heart for the Millheim Pool and thoroughly enjoyed attending sporting events at Penns Valley, with girls’ volleyball ranking as his favorite among them.

A devoted Snoopy enthusiast, Bobby adored animals, cheered passionately for Penn State sports, followed the Atlanta Braves in baseball, and was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers football team. His well-known catchphrase, “you’re fired,” became a signature element of his personality. At his Penns Valley graduation, his classmates stood up and playfully yelled “you’re fired Bobby,” to which he responded with his characteristic spirit, “no, you’re fired.”

In addition to his loving mother, Bobby is survived by his mother’s partner, Mark Hosterman, who consistently provided unwavering support to Bobby. He also leaves behind two sisters, Melanie Auman (Andy) and Mandy L. Chaplain (Chad). Bobby’s stepmother, three stepsisters, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends also mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert I. Musser, his brother, Michael Musser, maternal grandparents, Bob and Grace Ross, and his aunt and uncle, Charles and Gloria Ring.

A visitation for family and friends has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 1-4pm and 6-9pm at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. To honor Bobby’s memory, contributions may be made to Pets Come First at 2451 General Potter Highway, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
