His dedication and skill were recognized when he represented and captained the Midland squad, and he was a Lincolnshire champion on numerous occasions. His judo journey also took him across borders, as he proudly represented our club in Laval, France, contributing to the Boston/Laval twinning.

After retiring from competition, he channeled his knowledge and passion into helping club members achieve black belts.
