Eileen Neilson Obituary, Death – We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Eileen Neilson, who departed this world on the 4th of September 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a much-loved member of her community.
Eileen was the dearly beloved wife of Robert, a devoted mother to her children Lisa, Patricia, and Nevan, and a cherished grandmother to Alyssa, Tayler, Jason, Jacob, Nevan, and Luca. She was also a much-loved mother-in-law to Gerard and Jamie-Lee. Eileen’s love and warmth touched the lives of everyone she knew, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
Eileen’s final days were spent in the embrace of her family, surrounded by their love and care, a testament to the bonds she had nurtured throughout her life. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, and her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Eileen will be reposing at her late residence, 58 Lagmore Avenue, from the evening of Friday, 8th September, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects. A funeral service to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held at St. Luke’s Church on Tuesday, 12th September, at 11 a.m., following her departure from her residence at 10:30 a.m. Her final journey will conclude with cremation at Roselawn Crematorium.
Our Lady of Lourdes, we pray for her, that she may find eternal peace and rest in the loving arms of the Lord. Eileen leaves behind a heartbroken husband, a loving son and daughters, adoring grandchildren, a son and daughter-in-law, and her loving sister, Peggy. She also leaves behind a wider family circle and a community that will forever remember her kindness and generosity.
