Elisa Peffer Death, Obituary – It is with heavy hearts that we receive the news of yet another loss in our melanoma community. Elisa Peffer Walker, a true warrior in the fight against melanoma, has left us on August 24th, leaving a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew her. In this time of grief, our thoughts and condolences go out to her husband, Corey Walker, and their young children, Emersyn (4) and Elliot (16 months).
Elisa’s journey was marked by her unwavering determination and strength in facing melanoma head-on. Throughout her battle, she demonstrated incredible resilience, becoming an inspiration to those around her. Corey Walker speaks of the tremendous support they received from Dr. Howard Edington, whose compassionate care made a significant impact. In honor of Elisa, the family is kindly requesting donations to our charity, in lieu of flowers, to further melanoma research and support.
We, as a community, understand the challenges of this battle and the importance of coming together during times of loss. In memory of Elisa’s courageous fight, we invite everyone who wishes to pay their respects to join us in attending the services.
