Jace Lee Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jace Michael James Lee, a bright and beloved soul, who left us far too soon. Jace, age 15, of Pine Island, Minnesota, departed this world on Saturday, August 26, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. We invite you to join us in celebrating his life and remembering the precious moments we shared with him. Funeral services will be held at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, located at 801 7th St. SE, Kasson, on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at the same location from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Following the service, a Celebration of Life reception will be held at the American Legion Kasson Post 333, 212 W Main St, Kasson, where we can come together to honor Jace’s memory.
Jace Michael James Lee was born on June 29, 2008, in Rochester, Minnesota, to his loving parents, Jesse and Jessica (Swenson) Lee. Jace was not just a son; he was a brother, a friend, and a source of joy for so many. His heart was kind and gentle, always striving to do what was right and to stand up for others. His presence brightened the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. One of Jace’s greatest joys was sharing his love for video games with his family and friends. Games like Halo, Fortnite, Terraria, Minecraft, and Roblox were not just hobbies but opportunities for him to connect and create cherished memories with his loved ones.
Labor Day held a special place in his heart, as it meant reuniting with his cousins at the Labor Day Swenson Reunion. Jace was known for his adventurous spirit, often taking his friends and family on thrilling four-wheeler rides, ensuring every bump in the yard was experienced at maximum speed, all while ensuring safety by wearing helmets. During the summer months, badminton and kayaking, often combined with the excitement of agate hunting, were some of Jace’s favorite outdoor activities, shared with his dad, creating unforgettable bonding moments.
Jace eagerly awaited the arrival of winter, as it meant embracing the cold weather he loved so much and hitting the slopes for downhill skiing alongside his dad. As we say our goodbyes, let us also celebrate the vibrant life Jace lived and hold onto the moments we shared with him.
