Ken Worley Obituary, Death – Kenneth R. Worley, who resided in Newark, Delaware, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the age of 83, while he was accompanied by his family. The day of his passing was May 10. Before he was born on June 13, 1938 in Whitwell, Tennessee, he was predeceased by both of his parents, Henry C. Worley and Ada E. (Van Hooser) Worley. He was named after his father. Kenneth joined the United States Army and served in the 101st Airborne Division after signing up for service. He did his country proud by serving in the military. He worked at Exxon for the better part of three decades as a motor tank salesperson before deciding to retire in 1993 and leaving the company in which he had spent his whole professional life.In addition to his involvement in the local community,

he was a devoted member of several organizations, including the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the St. John’s Masonic Lodge No. 2 A.F. & A.M. Kenneth enjoyed watching a wide variety of movies, but some of his favorites were westerns. He liked to spend time outside, and one of his favorite activities was to mow the grass in his lawn. During his time off, Kenneth planned to spend it at the beach and in amusement parks, and he was very excited about both of these activities. Above all else, the most important thing in his life was being a loving father and having a strong connection to his family. In addition to his involvement in the local community,

A committal service for friends and family will be held on the Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, which can be found at 2465 Chesapeake City Road in Bear, Delaware.
