Pamela Ann Simons Death, Obituary – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela Ann (Stookey) Simons, a beloved member of our community in Sandusky, Ohio. Pamela left us on September 1, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Pamela was born to her parents, Dale Muehling and Rita Muehling (Ackerman), and throughout her life, she shared her warmth and love with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Jim Stookey, and her father-in-law, James R. Stookey.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Wyatt Simons, who shared in the joys and challenges of life’s journey with her. She is also survived by her children, Lori Terzo (Zach) of St. Augustine, FL, and Matt Stookey (Megan), as well as her step-daughters, Alison Simons of Norwalk and Kelsey Beckett (Jack) of Catonsville, MD. Pamela was a cherished grandmother to Nolan, Layla, Aiden, and June. Her memory lives on in her brother, Mike Muehling (Lori), and her mother-in-law, Jean Stookey, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects during the visitation on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, located at 429 Central Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the same location at 10:00 AM.

In remembrance of Pamela, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to one of the following organizations that held significance in her life: Cancer Services of Erie County at 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870; Stein Hospice at 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870; or the Erie County Humane Society at 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.

Pamela Ann (Stookey) Simons touched our lives with her love and kindness. Her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts, and her legacy of compassion and warmth will inspire us all.
