Ralph Drury Obituary, Ralph Drury Has Passed Away Unexpectedly

Ralph Drury Obituary, Death – On September 2, 2023, Ralph E. Drury, who was 83 years old and lived in Franklin, Tennessee, passed away. Ralph was born in Anderson County, Kentucky, to the late Russell Drury and the late Stattie Cole Drury. His parents have now passed away. He attended Georgetown College and graduated with a degree in business. Following his graduation from college, he went on to become a veteran of the United States Army. 1966 marked Ralph’s year of entry into the insurance industry, and the same year he did so, he also became a founder member of the International Mass Marketing Group.

Since 1973, he has led The Drury Group in its mission to create employee benefits solutions that are customised to match the specific requirements of each individual business. He was one of the pioneers in the field of insurance brokerage when it came to the introduction of the worksite marketing approach. Ralph is a prominent figure in both the business world and the local community. He is a founding member of the Franklin City Club, The Hundred Club of Franklin, and Mercy Children’s Clinic. Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 45 years,

Kathy Drury; daughters Carrie (April Wideman) Drury, Annie Drury (Charles) Pareigis, and Bridgette Drury Tillery; grandchildren, William Yates, Lindsey Yates, Alexandra Pareigis, Andrew Pareigis, and Garrett Tillery; great grandchildren, Bentley Yates and Parklynn Yates; and his much-loved dog, Milo. Funeral services will be held at Historic Franklin United Methodist Church on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with Dr. Vona Wilson and Dr. Bryan Brooks officiating.

Visitation will begin at the church exactly one hour before the service is scheduled to begin. Williamson Memorial Gardens will be the location of the interment. Jim Cross, David Landrum, Larry Westbrook, Jay Luna, John Harlin, and Jim Atkins are going to be the active pallbearers for this event. Mike Leech, Ed Underwood, Jackie Moore, Steve Smith, Glenn Johnson, Mike Henson, and other longtime and valued friends from California will serve as honorary pallbearers at the funeral service. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Cindy Evans, Ralph’s caregiver, for the tender loving care that she provided for Ralph.
